Nord for byen Rovinj, ligger naturområdet i daglig tale kaldet Limfjorden. Man kan komme til området med de bår-turer der afgår fra Pula. Eller man kan køre derop, hvilket tager ca. 40 minutter fra Liznjan.
North of the city Rovinj, you'll find the area called Limfjord or Limsky Kanal. You could arrive to the area by travelling with the boat-trips which starts out of Pula. Or you could dive there by car, which takes about 40 minutes from Liznjan.
Hvis man ankommer med båd, bliver man anråbt af de lokale Pirater. Skibene lægger som oftest til den lille anløbsbro, og der findes en lille cafe i grotten. If you arrive by boat, you'll be challenged by the local Pirates. The boats often moor at the small pier, and there's a small cafe in the grotto.
I bunden af kanalen, findes en lille havn, hvor der også findes enkelte cafeer og souvenier-shops. In the inner part of the canal, there's a small harbour, where you'll also find a few cafes and souvenir-shops.
Ved udkørsel fra området, finder man denne høje klippe der ofte bliver brugt til bjergsklatring. At the exit of the area, you'll find this cliff which often is used for climbing.
På den modsatte side af vejen, finder man henvisning til en grotte. Selve adgangen til grotten går gennem en helt særlig skov af høje slanke træer. Opstigningen kan være krævende og udfordrende.
At the opposite side of the read, you'll find a sign for a grotto. The access to the grotto, passes though a special forest of high slim trees. The climb to the crotto can be demanding and challenging.
Historien om grotten, som vi blev fortalt, stammer fra flere århundredere siden hvor en munk flyttede derind for at opnå fred til fordybelse. Inde i grotten har man fundet spor efter meget tidlige civilisationer og store, nu uddøde, rovdyr.
